A recap of Syracuse football’s comeback upset of Miami at the Dome, written for WAER.
Before I started kindergarten, I was calling games in my head on the other side of the world in Sydney, Australia. That passion took me from Down Under to the Bay Area and across the country to Syracuse. I broadcast for that little kid who dreamed to do it a decade and am ready to do whatever and go wherever to make it happen.

A hard worker whose preparation and passion come across over the air.
When I was in elementary school in Sydney Australia and eventually Palo Alto, California, I would play pretend football and basketball games in my living room and come up with characters and storylines to commentate over. That's why my parents signed me up for a sports broadcasting camp at a local community television station and how I got my start in sports media before I began middle school. Over the next few years and into the pandemic, I gained more experience in sports talk through a local radio station. When it eventually came time to apply to colleges, it was always going to be Syracuse, my favorite March Madness team to root for.
In my time at Syracuse, I joined student media organizations like WAER, Z89 and CitrusTV and gained meaningful experience in broadcasting, sports talk and media. When I wasn't on campus for Syracuse Athletics, I would do broadcasts of Le Moyne College soccer, lacrosse, baseball and softball.
In the summers between school years, I spent three seasons with three different teams in the California Collegiate League, one of the top collegiate summer baseball leagues in the nation. My first year was with the Menlo Park Legends and went down south to Santa Barbara with the Foresters for my second. This past summer, I spent back up north in Wine Country with the Sonoma Stompers. Every one of the 120 baseball games I called gave me meaningful experience.
Upon my graduation with an expected 3.8 GPA in December 2026, I am looking for a sports broadcasting job in minor league baseball or with a Division One athletic program.
